Playhouse Disney Show

On January 31st me and Dawson went with my friend Stacy and her daughter Addy (who is Dawson's best buddy) to the Playhouse Disney Show at the Energy Solutions Arena. Dawson lately has loved watching some of the Playhouse Disney shows in the morning (Tigger and Pooh, Little Einsteins, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse) and I knew Addy was a fan as well so when I saw a commercial for a live show I knew we just had to go! We decided to make a day of it, so Stacy and I headed downtown with two excited little kiddos to eat lunch then see the show. We were right by the Gateway so we decided on California Pizza Kitchen and had some great food. We finished up with just enough time to walk across the street to the arena, sit in our seats, and have the show start. At first Dawson and Addy didn't even move....they just sat there, mouths hanging open with a look of awe on their little faces...it was so cute! Soon enough though they were up out of their seats singing and dancing along with all the characters. Everytime someone new walked out like Mickey or Tigger, Dawson would turn to me, gasp, and say "Mom, Mom, Mickey!!!" Once he even tapped the lady in front of us and told her "It's Pooh!!" Luckily she thought it was cute and chatted with him. Of course Dawson and Addy loved just being there together too...they were holding hands, dancing, and giggling the whole time. We ended the day with getting them each a light up Little Einsteins Wand that has since then been used as a weapon on various occasions, mostly to the dog. Boys. Anyways, I love as Dawson gets older being able to take him to different things and seeing his little face light up with joy. It makes having to now watching Mickey and Einsteins and Tigger and Pooh everyday worth it....most the time. :)
