Summer Happenings

I got discounted tickets to the dinosaur park in Ogden so we took a family trip down to it and loved it! It's really a neat place and I liked it more then I thought. There is an inside part with robotic dinos and dinosaur bones, then you head outside and they have all these life size dinosaur replicas. You get to walk around and go on "hidden" trails and at the end they have a play park area and digging area. The kiddos loved it despite the 100 degree weather that day!

We also went to the zoo for my nephew Kohen's birthday, which is also a favorite always. This time they have a dinosaur thing going on with robotic replicas there thru out the zoo and Dawson loved it. Emerson didn't. They made noises and moved which turned her off right away. But we still had fun and enjoyed spending the day with Kohen on his birthday!

Lastly we went to the Lindon pool with some neighbor/ward friends to go swimming. It's a bit of a drive but it is such a nice pool it's totally worth it. The kids had a blast and played for 4 hours! The only picture we got was them drying off in the sun. We just love summer time around these parts and getting out!

Girl's Day Out

The boys went to our ward's Father and Son's Campout so that meant me and Em could have a girl's day/night! They went last year but she wasn't even one yet so there wasn't much we could do that she would get but this year was a different story! She woke up and got to have breakfast in my bed and we snuggled and had fun. After we got ready we ran some errands then I took her to Petsmart to see the animals and she loved it. They had baby kittens there and she was in heaven! I spoiled her and she got fries for lunch then we headed home for a nap. After naps we played, had dinner, then went out for ice cream with cousin Kohen and aunt Jen. They played and danced then we wrapped up the night with her favorite movie Tangled in mom's bed...she even got to sleep there for the night! The best part was once she realized it was all her her little personality shined out and she was so talkative, goofy, and fun. I love spending one on one time with my kids and think it is so important for them to have that! Love you girl and I look forward to more girl's nights with you!

T-Ball 2011

Dawson is playing summer t-ball and he is loving it. That might be because his three buddies Landon, Connor, and Parker are all on his team- so fun! This is his 2nd go at t-ball, and this time they are the Giants. I could tell he still remembered most of how it worked from last time. He just loves playing sports and it's fun to see him learning how it works! PS- It's been more fun for us too to have our friends there to chat with and watch their boys play to!
