An "Ancient" Story

A couple of weekends ago when Chris was home, we decided to take Dawson to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. Our neighbor Sheri and her son Parker joined us as well as his friend Parker. Dawson is all about dinosaurs, monsters, or anything that is big and scary; so naturally he loved it. The best part was they had tons of hands on stuff with each exhibit so he could touch things and play with them as much as he wanted (perfect for a 2 year old!) Every dinosaur we saw he sat there and pointed it out to us and said "wow!" followed by roaring at it. Funny boy, apparently he thinks he could scare them off. They had one area where the kids could play with water and sand and little plastic dinosaurs and make rivers, islands, etc. I think we were there for at least 30 minutes and could of stayed longer if we didn't have a whole museum to look at. The end also had 2 sand pits where you could dig up bones in. So neat!! The best part was he played so hard and had so much fun he also slept hard at nap time!

Landon got a gift card there for his birthday. We are going to go sometime soon. It looks fun!

That sounds like you had fun! I'm looking forward to when Jonathan is old enough to enjoy things like that.

Adam and I love places like that. I bet it's so much more fun with kids though!
