New Years

We had a fun New Years while visiting my family. On New Years Eve we got Georgio's (Chicago pizza) and made a bunch of appetizers and pretty much ate all night and played games. Dawson had no problem staying up and running around and playing with everyone. He was totally spoiled by having a house full of people to give him treats, airplane rides, or piggyback rides. The next day, on New Year's Day my mom always makes a big yummy dinner of steak and seafood. We had steak, crab legs, shrimp, cheesy potatoes, and salad....yum-o! It was a nice relaxing day of doing nothing! A couple of Dawson's favorite things to do while we were there was act like their dog, sit next to Boppa (grandpa) and watch Cars, play with Grandma's car ornaments, get lots of rides, and eat lots of sugar. It's funny, now that we are back if we get busy doing something and he has to entertain himself he lays on the floor and whines because he had someone to play with him non-stop during our trip. I guess he will have to get use to it quick!
