How to Eat Ranch Dressing
No Need to dip anything in it, when you love ranch like Dawson does, just drink it straight.
Yum, That's good...it also can be used as a stylish hair gel, who knew!
Hey, why did you take my ranch away? I could of made a bigger mess!

One Naked Baby and a Computer
Dawson has a new fascination with the computer. Anytime you sit down to go on it he is immediately at your side begging to be picked up so he can watch what your doing. He loves moving the mouse around and typing on the keyboard...which can be hard when your trying to type an email...Anyways, he just loves it. His most favorite thing to do, and what he has come to expect each time, is a trip to youtube. He loves watching short little videos about the ABC's, Sesame Street, or songs. No matter what he watches though we always HAVE to watch Potter Puppet Pals, the Mysterious Ticking Noise. We have probably watched it over 50 times, and yes I have it stuck in my head all the time. You will just have to watch it, it's easier than explaining it all; but in a nutshell it's little puppets of Harry Potter characters and they sing and Dawson just sits there every time and smiles and claps and dances...even if you have watched it 5 times in a row already. Here are some pictures of my youtube obsessed child. Yes, he is naked, watching youtube. He had just gotten out of the bath, escaped from Dad, and beelined to the rest of us on the computer.

Pizza and Movie Night!
Usually on Friday night (sometimes Saturday) we get a pizza and watch a movie. It used to be that we would go out to dinner and see a movie, but with Dawson now as part of our family we had to change it up a bit. It's always casual with me and Christopher popping in a movie and eating our pizza in front of the TV. Dawson would usually just play or drink his milk, until he became a little puppy dog begging for food. So now, Dawson gets to partake in pizza and movie night. He sits in his portable high chair, nibbles on pizza which he was a huge fan of, and watches the featured film. A few weeks ago we watched Charlie Brown Christmas and he loved it! When the Peanuts would dance, he would dance...when they clapped for Charlie Brown he clapped too! It's so fun as he gets older to be able to have him be more involved in the everyday little things we do.

Happy New Year
Happy New Year to everyone! We just got back a couple of days ago from our trip over Christmas to Chicago and we had a blast! Dawson loved all the constant attention he got from his grandma, grandpa, and four aunts; and boy did he get spoiled! Not only was it getting spoiled with tons of presents on Christmas morning; but it was also the constant cookies or chocolate slipped to him, staying up later because someone just hadn't had enough time to play with him, and the one time someone slipped some strawberry soda into his sippy cup when mom was out of the room. Sorry Dawson, it's back to a routine and vegetables. Why do us Mom's have to be the "mean" ones??
Moving on...while we were there we got to go downtown Chicago one night with my family to see all the Christmas lights and festivities, so much fun! Everyone has to experience Chicago once during Christmas! It feels so magical in the city with so many people and lights everywhere and we couldn't of been luckier, the weather was a nice chilled 40 degrees which is great for the city in winter.
I would also like to say that it was fun to see everyone while I was back there. I had to opportunity to hang out with "the gang" while I was back there and it was just like old times, so fun.
I have thought lately how blessed Christopher, Dawson, and I are to have friends and family pretty much across the US who love and support us. We love you all too and hope all of you will have a wonderful new year that brings health, happiness, and safety where ever you may be! I have notice a couple of other people have done this, but I would like to end with my New Year resolutions (maybe if they are documented I will do better with them!)
Sarah's Resolutions:
1. Exercise Regularly and Eat Better (once I just get in a routine of exercising I do good, promise!)
2. Floss and Use Mouthwash Daily (every time I go to the dentist I am told I need to do better at this and I slack SO BAD at it!)
3. Focus on Being a Good Mother to Dawson and Wife to Chris (I think sometimes it's easy to be lazy and not put forth that little extra that makes your family feel special.)
4. Read My Scriptures Daily and Say Prayers (it's so easy to forget and then get out of habit!)
5. Try to Give More (I want to give my all in church, my calling, be a better friend and keep in touch more with those not around, be more thoughtful, and be a better example to everyone around me.)
